1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of services provided by:
- Avunja Jiinue Sacco, a fully registered Savings and Credit Co-operative Society under the Ministry of Co-operatives, Republic of Kenya.
- Jiinue Tech Company Ltd, a Kenyan fintech company providing Sacco-as-a-Service (SaaS) digital infrastructure and financial technology services.
By accessing or using our services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.
2. Nature of Services
Jiinue operates in two capacities:
2.1 Avunja Jiinue Sacco
A registered Sacco that:
- Admits members
- Accepts capital and contributions
- Provides financial services in accordance with Kenyan law and its Constitution
2.2 Jiinue Tech Company Ltd
Provides:
- Digital platforms (mobile apps, dashboards, APIs)
- Financial infrastructure for Saccos and Chamas
- Technology services under subscription agreements
3. Eligibility
To join Avunja Jiinue Sacco, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Provide valid government-issued identification
- Comply with KYC requirements
- Agree to the Sacco Constitution and Policies
- Meet financial commitment requirements
4. Membership Obligations
Members agree to:
- Pay required setup fees
- Contribute capital as defined
- Make regular contributions as agreed
- Provide accurate and truthful information
- Abide by Sacco bylaws and policies
Failure to comply may result in suspension or termination.
5. Payments
All payments are processed through approved financial channels.
- Setup fees may be mandatory for activation.
- Contributions and capital are governed by Sacco rules.
- Late payments may attract penalties.
6. Suspension & Termination
Membership may be suspended for:
- Non-payment
- Fraudulent information
- Breach of policies
Termination procedures are governed by the Sacco Constitution.
7. Intellectual Property
All digital platforms, software systems, APIs, and proprietary tools remain the intellectual property of Jiinue Tech Company Ltd.
8. Limitation of Liability
Jiinue Tech Company Ltd shall not be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses
- User negligence
- Third-party financial service failures
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya.
