How do I reset my PIN?
From the sign-in page, tap Forgot PIN, enter your phone number, and you'll receive a code by SMS. Enter the code plus your new PIN to complete the reset.
Is my money safe?
Yes. Your contributions and capital sit in your SACCO's accounts. Jiinue secures access to those balances with phone + PIN authentication and bank-grade encryption. We don't custody your money.
How are dividends calculated?
Dividends are declared annually by the SACCO board based on your share capital and the SACCO's surplus for the year. You can see your eligibility status on the Membership page.
What's the difference between contributions and capital?
Contributions are recurring savings deposits (typeCode 01). Share capital (typeCode 06) is your ownership stake in the SACCO — it earns dividends and unlocks borrowing capacity but is not withdrawable without exiting membership.
Why was my account locked?
Too many failed sign-in attempts triggers a temporary lock to protect your account. You'll be able to sign in again after a short window, or you can reset your PIN now to regain access immediately.
Can I close my account?
Yes — contact support to request closure. Your contributions and capital are released after a 90-day notice period per SACCO bylaws.
